Emissions - Radiated & Conducted
| Emissions are signals emanating from the Test Specimen. The phenomena may be measured through free space as a radiated emission or through a conductor as a conducted emission. Lower frequency signals are more likely to propogate along conductors. Higher frequency signals are more likely to propogate through free space. Since "higher" and "lower" are relative terms, a Test Specimen is usually evaluated for both Conducted Emissions and Radiated Emissions with overlap in the measurement bandwidth. |
